Espèce lagunaire rencontrée dans le côté marin du port, construit sur un grau de l'étang.
Ce spécimen était posé dans le fond d'un "Biohut". Ces habitats artificiels sont installés dans plusieurs ports de Méditerranée pour fournir un abri aux larves et juvéniles de poissons. A Port-Barcarès, les Biohut sont majoritairement foulés par les moules, les bryozoaires et les hydraires.
